Start by folding the aileron down (disconnect the aileron pushrod if you can). Make a slit in the
foam with X-acto knife a few mm deep. Try to make a straight cut right in the middle of the exposed foam.
Make a hole in the corner near the aileron root for running the wire through the skin to the bottom of the wing.
If you are using a similar spring wire to what is shown here, make
a sharp 90 degree bend a few inches from one end of it. This sharp bend will be located at the exit hole
and will simplify routing the exposed end of wire towards the connector later.
